Every edge is mechanically ground to create the same concrete profile as the rest of the floor. This ensures our coating achieves a strong, long-lasting bond from wall to wall, not just in the open areas.
Proper surface preparation is the most important step in any floor coating system. A coating is only as good as the surface it's bonded to.
When comparing installers, don't just ask what products they use. Ask how they prepare the concrete. That's what separates a coating that lasts for years from one that begins peeling.
Quality preparation. Quality materials. Quality results.

Pressure washing can remove surface dirt, but clean concrete is not the same as prepared concrete. It does not remove the weak surface layer or create the texture a coating needs to bond. We grind the concrete before applying the floor system.
We mechanically grind the concrete to remove the weak surface layer and open its pores. Dust extraction helps collect debris at the source during preparation.
CSP means concrete surface profile. A CSP 2–3 profile gives the surface a light, even texture instead of leaving it smooth. That texture gives the epoxy a surface to grip for a strong mechanical bond.
We inspect cracks, pitting, and damaged areas and repair them as needed before coating. The slab condition helps determine the preparation and system we recommend.
Once the concrete is prepared, we apply the selected base coat, decorative finish where chosen, and protective topcoat. Every layer has a job, from bonding to the concrete to protecting the finished floor.
Worn or outdated concrete patios get the same treatment we give every floor: ground, repaired, and coated with a system built for outdoor weather in Eastern Washington. The result is a clean, uniform surface that transforms the whole space.

We diamond grind the concrete before coating it. Pressure washing can clean the surface, but it does not create the concrete surface profile needed for a reliable bond. Grinding removes the weak surface layer and opens the concrete to a CSP 2–3 profile, giving the epoxy a textured surface to grip.
